Founded in 2006, Milton Creamery is the realization of a dream in Southern Iowa—a land of rolling hills, lush woodlands, winding rivers, and fertile soil.

Our mission? To support local dairy farmers, create jobs in our community, and craft cheeses with passion and artistry for you to enjoy.

Small Family Farms

Great cheese starts with exceptional milk. We source fresh Iowa milk from small Amish and Mennonite family farms, each with herds under 120 cows, as well as from one trusted larger-herd farm about 85 miles from our creamery.

Every partner farm follows strict quality standards, and none use artificial growth hormones such as rBGH or rBST. We also never add artificial coloring to our cheese—just pure milk and careful craftsmanship.
