Emanuel Vom Tal is a sheep milk, brie–style cheese aged for approximately 60 days. It has a creamy center surrounded by a semi-soft bloomy rind.
The flavor is mild but rich, with notes of salted butter cream and a tangy finish, along with hints of grass in both taste and aroma.
Like all of GOOT ESSA’s soft-ripened cheeses, Emanuel Vom Tal has a signature creamy texture with notes of grass and earth, shaped by the character of sheep’s milk. The paste and the edible rind impart complexity and depth of flavor and pair especially well with lighter wines and light beers.
Produced as a 5.5 oz log and wrapped in cheese paper.
