Tucked away in the Sierra foothills near the historic Sutter's Mill and the American River, this small dairy goat farm is run by Charley and his wife, MaryLisa. They believe every goat deserves a name, not a number, and care for a herd of over 60 goats with love and dedication.

Charley makes a variety of cheeses, including creamy chèvre, seasonal feta, and several aged cheese made in fall and winter. As the only farmstead cheese producer within 50 miles of the state capital, their cheese offers something special for the local community.

You can find Charley’s goat cheese and other goat-made products at the Davis Farmers Market most Saturdays and the Sacramento Farmers Market every Sunday. Visitors are also welcome at the farm to explore the cozy storefront and meet the friendly goats.
