Schoch Dairy was established in 1944 by brothers who emigrated from Switzerland. Today, the 2nd and 3rd generation run the certified raw dairy. As one of the last dairies in Monterey County, they’re the only local creamery still making the County’s namesake – Monterey Jack, a California original! They recently became only the third certified raw dairy in California. Get one of their bottles of raw milk at the farmer's markets in Aptos and Monterey on Fridays and Saturdays.
